o/` We're on a highway to hell!
Now I usually burn my own CDs to listen to in the car... but as of late, my ability to mix CDs for my driving pleasure has gone south. Or I'm just fucking lazy. (Which is becoming an excuse now too. :P) Either or.

So...

Driving music for two diffirent driving moods. One for the "Driving down the highway, breaking every speed law there is" driving, the other is for "Slow cruising down the street" driving.

Let's see what you got.

Marty Friedman, "Fuel Injected Stingray" and "Gimme a Dose",
Iron Maiden, "Aces High"
Sentenced, "Vengeance is Mine" (Not exactly for speeding, but it's a damn catchy song and I would recommend anyway)
Anthrax, Gung Ho!" or "Pipeline" from the Attack of the Killer B's album.
Metallium, "Fight"

Slow Ride, take it easssyyy:

KMFDM, "Vogue" (Or the first half of the Money album rocks for night driving).
Mr. Bungle, "Retrovertigo" (Though your mileage may vary. Hah! Get it! Mix Tape? Mileage-- Ugh, I'll quiet).
Anything Voltaire usually works well, too.

Added speed:

"Deadly Sinners", 3 Inches of Blood (Also not on the subject of speeding, but usually required play in my car for riding around for the hell of it)

...all of these could work for both, to me...
Rush, "Dreamline".
Rush, "Prime Mover".
Threshold, "Phenomenon".
Threshold, "Oceanbound".
J.A. Seazer, "Akio Car". (so sue me. :p)

And one more for speed..."Devil's In my Car", The B-52s.

I may have more later.

For driving like a maniac:

"Crazy Train", Ozzy Osbourne (This works surprisingly well. The speedometer ramps up every time Rhodes does that opening rhythm line)
"Battery", Metallica
"Highway Star", Deep Purple
"Road Kill", Devin Townsend (Firmly with tongue in cheek.)
"Your Pretty Face is Going to Hell", Iggy Pop and the Stooges

Pimpin' it slow:

"Down on the Street", Iggy Pop and the Stooges
"Rapper's Delight", Sugarhill Gang
"Behind the Wall of Sleep", Black Sabbath
"Misty Mountain Hop", Led Zeppelin

When my car hit 100,000 miles (Bought it used), Crazy Train came on to *exact* instant it happened on the radio.

Rock on.

The opening line of "Crazy Train" is the ring tone for my family's and the C-ko's numbers on my cell.

Cell: ALL ABOARD! HAHAHAhahaha...
Me: ... Fuck, probably mom.

Ozzy brings us all together. :P
