The truck: In the daylight though, you can see more damage. In addition to the damage stated in the last post, there's also warping in the passenger's side front quarter panel, minor bumper damage, minor damage to the driver's side door, and deer fur chunks in what's left of the grill. (Ha! You didn't walk away unscathed Bambi!) Still don't know if there is anything wrong under the hood, since they didn't want to pop it open until it got inside and the adjuster got there.
The repair job, as it stands right now: $3100. I'm expecting them to tack on at least another $300 after they get the hood open.
The only lucky thing I can think off for all of this is that when it happened, my current insurance card was still valid... for about another 25 minutes. (I still have the same insurance, but I just forgot to put the new card in my truck.)
Side lulz: My annual insurance payment is now $666.00.
