Now I play video games. People know this. It's mainly RPG, but other ventures into fighting and platformers. And whenever I start a new game that has the ability for someone to create or pick their own character, I tend to have a bit of... gender bias.
Okay, I'll say it: I tend to use/pick the female characters first. I usually run through fighting games with the female character first. Pokemon Crysta/FireRed? Female trainer. Threads of Fate, Sword of Mana, Megaman ZX, Magical Starsign, Crazy Taxi, Jet Set Radio, Gunbird 2? All female characters. And the current game I'm working on, Summon Night: Swordcraft Story, I picked the female lead. And I'll probably do the same for Summon Night 2.
Of course, I wonder if I'm the only one who does this, so... Poll time.
When picking a character, how do you lean?

3(13.0%)
Male playing female. (Magical girl inside?)
10(43.5%)
Female playing male. (Tomboyfoolery.)
4(17.4%)
Female playing female. (... Can I watch?)
6(26.1%)
