tired

Yep, it's now a "thing."

Well, with roughly about a 100,000 vote difference the race in Ohio is being called too close. (I run via CNN.) There's a crapload of provisional ballots and absentee votes to tally up still. And out of  8 million possible voters, it's anyone's race yet again.

Oh, and 5 of the other 7 states are shaping up to be a 100,000 vote or less race too. (Michigan's actually got about a quater of a million difference. Hawaii's being lazy and only has < 1% of the precincts reported in. Bastards. :P)

Like I said, it's a thing. Now will it be a 36 day thing, or just a week thing? Bah.

Actually, Bush can take Ohio, and still lose IF Kerry takes all the rest. (269 to 270) But that's some Red Sox magic shit right there.

And now, bed. And I'll see what this election has caused in the morning.
hmm

Yeah, it's over.

There were over 110 million votes cast, more than anyone thought there would be. It seems that this election either people wanted their voice to be heard, or both parties were scared the other was going to win in the key states and started to get their people to the polls. But Kerry conceded and Ohio went to Bush. (Iowa and New Mexico is still out, but both are leaning Bush too.) Now there is two things I can hope happen.

One is that Bush can no longer blame the previous administration for any fuck-ups. Because he was the previous administration. It all falls on him now.

Two is that anyone who bitches about Bush now is that we find out who they voted for. If they voted Kerry or ant other of the nominees, let them bitch. If the voted Bush, then someone take them off to the side and smack the shit out of them until they shut up. You let your voice be heard, and you wanted and put him there. So you deal with all the crap your choice for top dog made.

I known neither's likely to happen, but I'm a dreamer. And plus, Bush can't go again in '08. :P
