I got a new alarm clock last week, since the old one decided to die… - RJ's LJ - WTF is my way of life.
I've been on the 'net longer that some of you've been ALIVE.
I got a new alarm clock last week, since the old one decided to die after 8 years of abuse. Bigger, brighter, and better than the previous one. Plus it has a CD player that I haven't had a chance to really use yet, expecially when getting up.

So... Here, let me throw down a card. :P

Give me music to wake to, whether anyone wants to or not. ;p

...wow. Just wow.

Hang on while I toss some wakeup music into transfer...

Okay, we've got "Saturday Sun" by Nick Drake, which is nice, quiet, and made for days that you don't really have to get up, but can just laze in bed.

"Welcome to the Terrordome" by Public Enemy, loud, angry, and dense.

For that classic heavy rock groove to wake oneself, like in the Cheech & Chong skit "Earache My Eye", we also have T. Rex's "20th Century Boy."

...and Henry Rollins' cover of "Earache My Eye." Just 'cos.

Tell me when you've got 'em, so I can pull 'em down.

What's really fun to wake up to: "Sweating Bullets" by Megadeth. I was freaked out for the day I tried it: "HELLO ME! Meet the *real* me!...."
